Replied to the other thread but it came up closed. :p

Here is the cavity cover with preamp attached from the Lincoln Goines Signature 6 posted in thread #4.

I might as well add the shot of the front of the bass, too.

Ok, that's what a figured (needing a small screwdriver). I like the idea actually. Thanks Bernie.
You're welcome.

It's a cool idea for someone that doesn't tweak much. I don't do much tweaking once the gig starts so I definitely like it. If one could approximate the blend of pickups that they normally use with the pickup position and set their EQ, this setup is it.

I just had a look on the site and it has the "new standard" basses. They don't seem to be listed on the price list.
Are they still being made and if they are, how much are they?
Thanks!

We no longer are offering the New Standard...essentially they were the same thing as a Monarch Bolt-on with a standard top in terms of pricing.

They have been removed from the new website which is ready to go live any day! We are just waiting on some final integration between the site host and FedEx...

Jason, I asked this question in the last thread but it probably got lost in the transition.

Is Fodera willing to use the Anthony Jackson pickup position on a different bass? In other words, if a customer asked for a single dual coil in the AJ pickup position on an Imperial, would Fodera do it or is that reserved solely for the Presentation?

Well I finally bit the bullet. I've had a NYC 5 string with a custom Mike Pope pre-amp for about a year now. Though it's an entry level Fodera I still fell in love with the sound and the feel. I told Jason (who I bought it from) that I'd be back one day to order a custom.

The day has arrived. I ordered a production slot through Bass Central for a Victor Wooten Ying Yang Monarch 4 due to arrive in May 2011. I guess I got lucky because that's a pretty short wait in the grand scheme of things, but I'm still going to be in agony waiting.

Arrgh.
