If you had to pick just ONE DG pedal? Any why.

What is your "default" setting on your Darkglass pedals?

Here are my B7K & VMT settings. The B7K is "always on". Still experimenting with the right VMT combination for my use.

I'm in again too, and doing a little travelling down memory lane while I'm at it...

My board has changed a LOT over the last couple years. Here are just a few various stages of my PT Mini, starting with when I got my B3K since this is, of course, the Darkglass thread. lol The last one is as it stands today, finished. I officially have no more GAS... on my main board. lol :D

I've got a PT1 that's been in limbo for a while, maybe it's time to get that one finished as well...?

whoops....

i've splurged on gear more this month than i have in the past 5 years. that's what i get for joining a new band...

thanks for the recommendation though, y'll. it sounds great. i'll post my full board soon.

I started a poll. I want to know which pedal you'd pick of darkglass' and why. I'd go B7K all the way. It's got the drive if I wanted to use it, had the tasty EQ and the great DI if I ever needed. The blend on it is so darn intuitive I love it. In fact, if I had to pick one pedal of all the pedals I had, it would be the B7K. It's a pre and dirt. If it came down to it, if I had to make a choice of any effect, the dirt and pre would be enough for me :)

I suspect it might not be much of a poll... ;) ;) I don't know anyone who's owned both that has said they prefer the B3K. The ONLY argument I could see would be pedalboard space.

I agree with you on all counts, and as much of a filter junkie as I am... the B7K would probably be my "if you could only have one" pedal, pretty much hands down.

For me it really depends on the bass. With the P bass I find myself always using the Vintage, and with the jazz bass the B3K gets most of the love.

Yeah I wasn't sure really if the poll would take but I honestly wanted to see what all darkglass users would say. I notice that there's a lot of folks that have one or the other. Or a vintage and the other. I had a vintage before I got the 7 and now that I have a 7, I want the vintage to go with it. I think it'd be a match made in heaven. The 7 has a kick ass way of making ALL my dirt pedals sound completely different in the most awesome way.
