Bassballs external trimpot mod? Anyone know how?

I've read about the bassballs external trimpot mod in other threads. Does anyone know where I could get info on how to do this? I've done a lot of searching and haven't come up with much.

It's a mod where you take the interal trim pots and put them on the outside of the casing to make the more accessible.

It's discussed in this thread, but not totally clear on what to do:

If I do it, I think I'll probably also replace the jack with a "boss type" jack and make it true bypass.

Has anyone done any of these mods to their bassballs?

Just replace the trim pots with regular pots and wires and mount the pots to the case. If you have basic electronics knowlegde it should be pretty straight forward. If you don't you might want to do some learning up before you try to mod the pedal yourself.

I have some electronics knowledge... so, I can basically switch in one of these guys, drill new holes, get knobs, and I'm done?:

Yep, that's it, a trim pot is just a pot only smaller. You'll probably want to go with 16mm pots for the sake of space. Of course make sure you get pots of the correct value. If you can't read them off the trim pots you can desolder them and measure them with a ohmmeter or find a schematic.

The pots in question are 10K linear taper.

Here's what to expect when you get the thing open. The trimmers are the two white circles, side by each. This is the Russian version.

Nice. Any suggestion on where to get those pots? Doesn't look like small bear carries them, unless I wasn't looking properly.

Like Sonicvi said, go with the 16mm pots. Small bear has them. Click on "potentiometers" in the left hand menu, towards the bottom is 16mm linear taper pots. Click that and then there's a pull-down menu to select the value you want. They look like regular pots. They are regular pots.

I believe sensitivity of the filters, one of which is shelved at 200hz and the other at 800hz.
