Define thick.
In my opinion a chorus pedal would thicken up a sound, but so would overdrive and a few other effects.

Ok, im going to sweden this summer and already im looking for something that i can try there. any recommandations on pedals that i should seek ?
To me thick would be an octave down effect. Have a search for 1 octave down pedals, theres been quite a few threads on that effect.
