So I was with my friend in a local music shop the other day, and he picks up this orange guitar. Right away I thought "Damn... that is one sexy color." So the next day I had kinda forgotten about the orange guitar when I was watching Kill Bill 1 with some friends. It gets to the scene where they fight crazy amounts of Japanese swordsmen(while trying to kill O-Ren) and the band playing prior to the fight breaking out has a bassist playing an orange bass!
Since then, I've realized orange is a great color for a bass, and its says a lot about me! Its one of my schools (Virginia Tech, maroon and orange) colors, and its also my favorite hockey teams (the Flyers) colors. I love orange, and I want to see some of your orange basses!
The amount of color combinations I think would be great. I could get a maroon(tort?) pick guard, and make a VT bass. Or, I could stick with the white pick guard (maybe some DR Black beauties), and support my Flyers!
My gas for an orange bass is now through the roof... am I crazy?
