Well, in case you don't know, I like to toot my own horn.

That being said, I built this fancy little box over the last few days. Well, truth be told, it really isn't fancy, its just a line booster. It gets pretty damn distorted as the knob gets turned up though.

As you can see by my intricate pedal art (haha) in the yellow it makes it louder, in the orange it gets some dirt (and really loud), then in the red its very distorted and crazy loud!

Anyways, I am proud of myself for completing it and felt like bragging lol

thanks for listening!

hahaha thanks guys +24 to my ego, lol, ahhh I'm a whore

on a side note, this one is actually going to my friend, I'm making mine in a day or two, it will have a blue LED muahahaha!

this one is Ultra-Violet, looks kinda blueish though, and its hella bright

weren't you working on the Invalid Link Removed beginner project?

is this it?

I was, but when I started talking to the people, aron, the site runner I think, told me the "Shaka Boost" would be a better idea for me. So thats pretty much what this is. I used some slightly different parts because of their availability to me, but it works great, so its not a big deal.

Other projects are making 2 more of these bad boys for my friends, then I am making myself a new pedalboard. What I really should be doing is getting a job... but this is more fun lol. I think my friend wanted a fuzz face clone... might talk to him about making that for him once I finish all of this. I think he wanted to make an attempt at building one though...

Verree niece howe much!!

cost me about $25 to make, not including the new soldering iron, soldering iron holder, and wire I bought. I think I'll put them to good use after these projects are done though.

soundclips?

I might work something up today.

Cool! I remember when I finished my first pedal. It's like the best feeling when you plug into it for the first time and it works.

exactly! haha

Invalid Link Removed

starts without it on, then with the setting I use most at around 8 O'clock. After the pause I just play one note while turning the knob steadily from none to all, then mess around with it all the way up.

After that I noodle around for a while, sorry for not actually playing anything lol. but I think I put a break after the full on which I play with it low in the orange, then another break and playing with it high in the orange

I like it.
