OK folks :smug:, the time has come for The ...

I've seen (and posted in) so many threads where the subject of "colour-schemes" comes up and it seems that the combination of a glossy black body, with a maple fretboard is one that unites many TBers in pure admiration :smug: .

So, I think it's time for those of us with a passion for this "timeless classic" colour combination to stand up and be counted :hyper: !

As someone who's become a bit "obsessed" with B 'n' M basses lately, I feel as well qualified as anyone to start the ball rolling :hmm: . Besides, the promise of seeing all of your fantastic pics, will be more than enough to ensure that I keep on top of the membership number requests :) .

So, if you own a bass with a black body and a maple fretboard (different coloured scratchplates are fine, BTW ;) ), just post your pics and stories here and send me a PM to request a membership number (first come, first served ;) ).

It's very difficult to concentrate on the TV with this lot surrounding it ;) .

If I can remeber to take a pic of mine I will, Black maple necked pbass with competition stripe. Did everyones pbasses come with a black pickguard?? All the pics on fenders website looked like it was going to, then when I got mine it had a white pickguard.
