Well the Spector Ian Hill arrived last night after dinner. Not much time with it yet but my immediate impressions were, it needs a setup which is to be expected as its 6 years old and was sold as new so its been in a shop (GC) for 6 years.
Also its in like new condition, kinda surprising considering where its been and for how long.
The neck is not thin by any stretch of the imagination. I've read that these were thin, thinner than other Spectors. Other Spectors must have some pretty thick necks, lol. Or I'm just used to thinner necks.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't like it. I do like it and the thicker neck is not a problem at all I just expected it to be thinner as every review I read about them touted the "thinner" neck.
I'm gonna set it up after work and I'll get some pics and a better idea what I think.
Also it's strikingly gorgeous for just being all black.
