Yeah saw this the other day when i was trawling the intanets - sexiest Sadowsky ever. Really love Spalted Maple but always feel that it lacks something, a trans finish over it really makes it eye catching.
Yes, they look great, but how do they sound compared to the soapbars Sadowsky used to use. Enquiring ears want to know?

I saw this on the site today, I would seriously get it if it had a maple board and maybe a natural finish... otherwise it's perfect. I would love to hear this bad boy!
Pickup placement is different on each of the 4 basses. I'll bet each one sounds unique. How does Roger decide where to mount them?

+1 I'm wondering about some big singles for my M5-24 for a bit more upper mid bark.
I have the Nordies in my Sadowsky Modern: maple top on chambered alder with a maple board. For fingerstyle and pick they have the effect of planets colliding and thunder splitting the heavens. Unbelievable. Wow! Huge fundamental.
But they are not hi fi or as 'pretty' sounding for what I prefer in a slap tone. I'm going to try the regular Sadowsky soaps too.

This will have Nordie Big Singles and a birdseye maple fretboard when I get it in March '08!
