Its a BENAVENTE Vortex 5 Bolt-On. Specs:
- White Swamp Ash body
- Ebony veneer between top and body
- 1 pc Wenge neck
- Buckeye Burl top
- Benavente Wide pick-ups
- Buckeye Burl matching pick-up covers
- Maccassar Ebony board
- Hipshot "A" type bridge and Ultra light tuners (all black hardware)
Its a BENAVENTE Vortex 5 Bolt-On. Specs:
- White Swamp Ash body
- Ebony veneer between top and body
- 1 pc Wenge neck
- Buckeye Burl top
- Benavente Wide pick-ups
- Buckeye Burl matching pick-up covers
- Maccassar Ebony board
- Hipshot "A" type bridge and Ultra light tuners (all black hardware)

Thing is, I'm feeling everybody's pain because I am on my own wait list (if that makes any sense) because customer basses take precedence.

Thing is, I'm feeling everybody's pain because I am on my own wait list (if that makes any sense) because customer basses take precedence.

Well I’ve had the Laggan fretless 7 for about a month.
Great bass, BUT- (due to poor communication on my part),
the string spacing is tighter than I like and the neck isn’t positioned as I hoped.
SO- with lessons learned, after seeing examples of his great work (like on the post preceding this one), I turned to the mighty Wilser.
I presented him a design that blended elements from two of his (IMHO) coolest models, along with some of my own touches.
Thankfully, he liked it enough to take on the project!

Should be ready late Spring, early Summer!
Great bass, BUT- (due to poor communication on my part),
the string spacing is tighter than I like and the neck isn’t positioned as I hoped.

I presented him a design that blended elements from two of his (IMHO) coolest models, along with some of my own touches.
Thankfully, he liked it enough to take on the project!

I'm waiting for a Valenti PJ5 (reversible P) in oly white, tort guard, nordstrands + sadowsky pre, ash/rosewood. My first custom ever (other than my homebuilt) and I cannot wait!!!

IMPRESSIVE .. I have to say that's a sick neck joint 
Front and back pics of the nearly completed Clement fretless. The body needs final sanding and finishing but that is pretty much it. Tom is taking it out on a gig tonite to make sure all is in order. Needless to say, I'm pretty chuffed at how the build turned out.

That clements fretless looks cool, I am still awaiting to hear word that my Brase is in Toronto (then has to be shipped to the coast...)
