This is a big "YES!" for any Trace Elliot 18v pedal users who are tired of replacing 9v batteries and don't have the power adapter.
As you may already know those original adapters are very difficult to find and expensive when you do. With the help of this forum (namely this thread: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=399659 ) I achieved success.
Long story short, this is what you'll need:
a Dunlop 18v adapter - ECB-04 is my part #
a Godlyke "Red" cable
a Godlyke "Green" cable
Hook those three pieces up in that order and you're done. Don't be alarmed if there are no lights at first. You still need to plug a cable in the input jack for the power to flow. My SMX Dual Compressor pedal is back in business! No more worrying about leaving the cable plugged in on batteries either.
For the details:
The Dunlop pedal provides the 18v power of course. The "Green" cable is necessary because the Trace has a 2.5mm jack which is bigger than most. The "Red" cable is necessary because the Green cable reverses the polarity so you need to flip it back. The Trace needs a negative center tip. I suppose it's a lucky thing that the Line 6 pedals use that bigger tip or it might not be this easy.
Total cost around $30 with shipping. I bought my adapter from AMS and the Godlyke cables from Godlyke direct.

Note:
You could also use the L6 cables but I think the Godlyke ones are cleaner because the L6's would leave you with a couple of right angles connected to each other.
