...can you tell me--is the body roughly the same size as a P or J? I realize the shape is different, but I seem to recall someone here saying that even the full scale versions of this model had a pretty smallish (more guitar-like) body.

Anyone know?
 
Well, that refers to the scale length of the neck.

I'm more interested if the body size is comparable to a regular old P or J bass.

Just seems like I remember someone here mentioning they thought the body was sort of small and guitar-ish.
It states the width of the body at the widest point is 14-1/2"
Short scale is 12". Full scale Jazz is 13"
Short scale P is 12". Full scale P is 13"
