Ordered a custom build from Canada... possible dilemma

So, like the title says, I'm getting a custom build from Canadian builder Ian Ross. I ordered it before the current tariffs went into effect but it is not complete. Curious if anyone has a clue whether this will be impacted by the tariffs, as it will likely price it out of my reach. I've perused tariff schedules in the past and they are, to me, about as clear as mud. Any experience or insight welcome. Thanks!

IIRC, you'll have to pay the tariffs because they are levied at point of import, and are not based on the time/date of the order (i.e., before the tariffs went into effect). Maybe there is some grandfathered exemption for orders placed before the latest merry-go-round of duties, but I highly doubt it.

Mind you, I never finished law school, so I'm not a real lawyer. I'm not even a real bass player.
