am i correct in the understanding that the necks on the SX Jazzes are wider than the usual Jazz neck you'd find on a Fender?
i've been more of a P guy all my life, with massive hands. that said, it wouldn't surprise me if some of the basses i've owned/played have had J-width necks and i didn't even realize it. my fingers tend to wrap around any neck without any trouble, regardless of width or shape.
i ask because it looks like i'm getting this beauty for Christmas:
