Ummmm, at the risk of sounding like an idiot (something I do frequently)...

In the original post you say "These sell for $89 normally... for just ONE of them so this is less than half price." but I can't seem to figure out what price "this" is anywhere in the post, nor in the thread header. Am I blind, stupid, or did something accidentally get left out???

Yes the HZs are passive so they will work with both. (most other EMGs are active only. They can be used with a passive circuit but must have a battery for the pickups themselves.) These can be used completely passive or with an active circuit (like regular pickups.)
