Many features for a bass amp : XLR , channel switch , effects loop , 9 band EQ , drive and balance control for the speakers. I use all these features , but they are more than an average player would use . It has 100 watts to the 15 inch and 50 going to the 8 inch speaker. That does not sound like a lot of power for a bass amp but it's loud! Some players confuse the B-3158 with the B-3. My B-3158 says B-3 on the front but on the back it says B-3158. I'm not sure why Ampeg did this.
I will throw in a new 8 inch OEM replacement speaker with combo.
