Details

Howdy. It pains me to do so, but I think I have to sell my Peavey Gv (which it took me a while to find). I bought this last March from Quadzilla. It is the exact shape it was when I bought it (which is pretty good, but not perfect). Check out Quad's listing. He gives a good bit of detail, and again, the bass remains unchanged. I just have way too much gear, and not enough clients paying in a timely fashion. :hmm:

I am just looking to get what I have in it, which was $599, plus shipping.

These are Quad's original photos:

Now you've done it! I'm wishing that my G-V was that cool blue instead of Black Sparkle! Perhaps I should sell mine and pick up this one?

But seriously...these are great basses! Every time I think about selling mine, I pick it up and quickly change my mind. Thin, narrow, super-fast neck. Mine actually sounds better IMO, than my old Cirrus with the same preamp. I was planning to trade out the pre cause I've never liked the Cirrus pre, but haven't had to so far. And I've even got a Bart NTMB ready to drop right in.

Bump for a sweet bass and a super-cool guy to deal with.

Oops!

I just remembered that my G-V:

a.) has an issue with the neck that I'm not willing to put the money into fixing as it works fine for me; and

b.) I won't sell it as it is and my long-time tech died of a heart attack two weeks ago, so it won't be getting repaired any time soon.

Bass plays fine, sounds fine and otherwise functions perfectly (gigged it last week), but I'd rather not get rid of it until I have it seen about.

I rescind my willingness to purchase and instead give a free BUMP!

FYI,
I used to have a black sparkle one of these (a finish that is AWESOME under show lights, I might add).

HOWEVER, they've used at least two very different neck types on these. The one here is either made by Modulus, or is very similar to their necks (carbon fiber). The one I had was either made by Moses, or very similar (graphite/composite). I've also played one of these with this kind of neck, and I like it a lot better. These necks ring truer to my ears.

These are fantastic basses! I have the 4 string version up for trade here in the link in my signature (I will mention in my thread that you have the 5 string version for sale here Tom.)

Got one myself in Black halo flake that might have to go for the same reasons. Darn near mint. This pic doesn't do it justice.

Just thinking of selling right now. I know I'll never get another in this shape.

Grrr...I still like the color of this one better than my Holoflake Black G-V.

Bump for a great deal and a great-sounding bass. Not to mention a great guy to deal with.
