It seems that I have to review the electronics in my T-40.
One switch is broken, one volume pot works so so and seems to break out its pickup.
Also I get a lot of scratch when I move the other pots. One of the tone pot is also hard to turn and the knobs are at different height form the pick guard.
I wonder if I should start with fresh components, or try to salvage the existing ones and replace the ones that do not work?
I was thinking about going as far as throwing everything away but the pickups, the knobs and the jack.
Yes, I know how to use a multimeter and more importantly a soldering iron.
