Changing EMG Hz's/Tonepump for 40P5/40TW/BQC questions

i have a rebop that i'm currently changing out the pups and preamp. i would like someone to check my understanding up the wiring before i jump into it. i drew up the based on how i understand the three wiring diagrams.

i looked Link Removed, Link Removed, Link Removed.

assuming my understanding is correct i have one more question. under my Hz pups was a dense foam to support the pups. i wonder
- first, if this foam will be thick enough to place my active emg's close enough to the strings. if not, what would you suggest to raise them up?
- second, the Hz's have the quick connect in the middle of the pup. these foam pads are near the outer edges of the pups. right where the quick connect for the 40P5 is. (i can take a pic if that'll help.) i'm afraid the foam will bend the connectors/put too much strain on them in it's current location. what should i do? i would think my options are to try and cut a section of it out... or try to remove the foam and risk damage/ugliness to the pup cavity because the foam pads are glued in.

any advice you guys can give will be greatly appreciated. i'd like to get this done tonight so i can play it at church in the morning. thanks

well, i can tell you all that the above diagram is correct because i just finished putting everything together and it sounds great. my 40p5 (neck pup) is considerably louder than the bridge pup. and my input jack now acts as though it has a short in it. if i jiggle my cord a certain way my sound will cut out. i'll look into that tomorrow.

i would like to know what you guys do about being able to raise the pups. as i said, mine had dense foam under the pups. it was fine for the passives (that need to be further from the strings)... but i think i could get my actives closer to the strings... if i had something that would lift them (such as springs or more foam or something) under the pups.
