Need help ! What's that Precision Bass model ?

Hi guys,
i'm looking for a not too expensive used MIJ/CIJ P-Bass and i recently got an offer for an early 90s MIJ P-Bass.

What bother me is that it looks like a foto-flame, but the neck is not flamed, is that possible ? Is it a existing MIJ P-bass model or do you think some parts have been changed ?

Yup, pretty cute one but i didn't get it, bids went to high for me.

Still looking for good used MIJ Pbasses, any hints ?

I know Fender made some Standard basses with Flame Maple bodies... That could be one, but not sure. The tuning posts look old school, and those are Fender OEM strings, but they look like they've been hastily installed. Anyway, nice bass!
