Hey all,
so 2 years ago I got a good deal on a GK backline 600 amp and a 210 gold line cab.
I then added a Back line 15.
and it's been doing the work.
then I started a new Project..some pretty heavy stuff compared to the stuff I was playing.
went from a punk/ power rock band to a Stoner Doom Metal Band.
the Drums and 2 Guitars are pretty loud so I' set the master at 6-7 to cut through.
it sounds alright.
then last night at practice some thing wasn't right......
yup right hand 10 was crunchy........
<expletive deleted>...
it's cooked.
so...do I replace the speaker with something better... or just get a better cab?
if I replace the speaker is it just going to blow again?
thoughts?
