Is this bass being discussed anywhere?

And it even has a shim in the neck! Goes to show that even in the "golden age" of Fender their instruments didn't come perfect.

Would be cool to buy it, remove the pickguard, replace the knobs, defret the neck with a butter knife and give it the epoxy treatment, then play the heck out of it. And of course, never use a case unless you're travelling long distance.
