To badass an Lakland DJ5..

Anyone have tried to change the bridge on an DJ5? and do you know how the stringthrough on the bass will align with the stringthrough on the Badass V or Hipshot A bridge?

I am kinda planing to make my black sparkle "in the mail" DJ5 an Stealthish DJ, so that means the bridge will have to be swapped.. Its also slightly becouse of that I realy dont like the look of their bridge (My only visual complaint)

IMHO DJ5's are already badassed!:bassist:

Why not black powder coat the existing one?

There was a picture of a natural JO5 with a badass on it & I thought it looked great!
I was going to do that on my black DJ 4 at one point, but when I took off the Lakland bridge there was an oval indent in the clear coat that was far too visible, so killed that.
Other than aesthetics I don't think there'd be any advantage, especially if you string through the body.
