I am in two bands looking to replace members who have quit due to work obligations and/or changing musical directions.
Band #1 is drums, bass, guitar, keys and female vocalist/percussion toys. We do mostly 60's soul, including a lot of Motown, Stax, as well as some rock/pop from the era. We have a strong male and female lead singers and all members are mature and experienced. We are looking for an experienced drummer familiar with the style and music of era, vocal abilities would be nice but not essential.
Band #2 is currently down to keys and bass. We play similar music as band #1 but with a heavier emphasis on British invasion and American pop. We do have a female singer and so we also cover a fair amount of girl group stuff from the late 50's and early 60's. We are looking for a drummer and guitarist very familiar with the material of the era that can basically jump in and be gigging with very few rehearsals. In addition to our female singer, keys player sings but we could use more vocal help.
