For sale FS/FT: Vintage 70s Electra Corsair with OHSC - ric-copy

Hi guys! I just wanted to let you know I have added new, better, more detailed photos to my flickr gallery. I have also created a video (recorded on my Mac with the bass running into the machine through a Konnekt 6 interface, on a clean channel — no effects — recorded with Quicktime Pro and my iSight camera (note: I had a mic up and running, thinking it was set loud enough to catch my voice over during my "audition" of the bass... unfortunately all it picked up was string/hand noise (very faint, but you can hear it on headphones so I wanted to point that out.)

Thanks!! She's really gorgeous... and so much lighter than a Rickenbacker! I forgot to mention that... this one is closer to 8.5 - 9 max... and the neck is a bit smaller/thinner too than a typical Ric. She can do the smooth mellow stuff and the bright "almost piano" sound too... and of course sustain for DAYS...

I hope my audio/video stuff wasn't too cheesy or dumb — but I know how many great basses there are out there to choose from. Plus its especially hard with vintage gear, as a potential buyer can't just go to a local store and pick up and try it out themselves.

Thanks! I have another couple of recordings I could send to anyone interested. They are as yet unpublished original tracks though and I am not sure I am quite ready for a public critique. It sounds even more like a Rickenbacker in those. best sounding Ric-copy I've ever played (given that's only 3!) lol -- I've gotten a few trade offers still, but as always... cash is king. if anyone is near Indianapolis and wants to pickup locally I would be willing to knock off $50. I could also meet someone partway (within reason).
