Let's flame Millsbass5!!

O.K.As the title states.I'll maybe/probably will catch hell for this.Oh,well:
The instrument I'm referring to is considered one of the best(if not the best)"Super-jazz basses" on the market:

The bass in question is the highly-regarded Alleva-Copalla Basses.
Question:
Does anyone,or is it just me,find the headstock of these basses.....Uh.....Unattractive??I'm sorry all you owners of these basses,I DEFINITELY respect your choice in a high-quality bass.If I was in the market for one of these basses(super-jazz),I wouldn't let the headstock hamper my decision,AT ALL!!
I just don't think it,"flows(?)"with the lines of the bass.
Anyone agree??

A beautiful bass.Plain and simple.....From the body to the nut.

Personally, I don't think you're wrong at all for commenting on the headstock. If you don't like it, you should have the right to say so. You're not going to pay good money for a nice bass with an unattractive headstock when you could spend an equivalent amount on another bass with all of the same features and a nicer headstock.

I don't really like the A-C headstock either. I give them credit for coming up with their own different design though, the Lakland headstocks are too much like MusicMan, Im not sure how they are allowed to copy the MuiscMan headstock with the patents and stuff these music companies have.

LOL - that's almost sig-worthy!

Seems like a great-looking headstock might be the ultimate design challenge. There's a few that I love (Fender, Ken Smith, early Tobias, Music Man, later G&L & Sadowsky off the top of my head) a bunch I can tolerate and a bunch more that just take my breath away in a bad way - don't care to name names.

It really is a shame because as you say, I see a lot of examples that are absolutely gorgeous... right up to the nut. :hmm:
