I'm really not sure what pups are in it. maybe we can tell by the serial number 06113490. I can say that for a passive bass, it has a lot of output. a lot.

That serial number mean that it was made in 2006. At that time they would be using Fralins and the bass would be made in Korea. Nothing against the new ones but I have a preference toward the Korean ones with Fralins and the hand done fret work.

I 100% agree with Johnny Alien....Lakland's CAR is some of the best in teh business and I also prefer the Fralin pickups!

this is a hawt bass at a decent price....

the finish IS awesome. This is probably the best passive P bass I've ever played/owned. If I didn't have so many stinking bills, I would keep it.
