These threads have been great and I think it's fantastic Fender is finally building new basses that seem to be as good as the originals.
Now they need to issue an American Vintage 1968 Telecaster model. White slab body, one piece maple neck and fingerboard, one passive single coil pickup. That would pretty much complete the line.
The Sting Precision Bass model is the closest, but is patterned after the original '51 Precision which had a Sunburst color finish, and who needs the signature on the fretboard? It's tacky.
Nash Guitars has their T-68. How about it, Fender?
