Great bass. No issues. VTC. 34" scale. 9 pounds. Killer B string. Nice grain in the body and great finish. Comes with Sadowsky soft case. $1,800 shipped to your door. I would consider a trade + your cash deal for a quality lesser bass.

The first pic is more accurate as far as color.

Is $1,800 really that out of line? It seems to be a "going rate" for this type of bass. I know things are slow right now but...

Decent price, but yah, slow. I'm noticing especially for the metros. There have been a couple of really nice RV5 and MV5 that sat around for a couple or so months. One of the RV5's for like $1650 shipped!

The NYC basses I see are selling rather quick.

Either people have not enough cash, or want to spend more for the NYC basses.

Yeah. Like my friend said, I may have to just play this "terrible" bass for a wile.

That is a very beautiful bass. I don't think that you are out of line at all. The price seems to be in the ballpark for sure.

Bass selling does run in waves so you really do have to be patient. I would bet that the Sadowskys are the best sellers on the used market and seem to retain a very high resale value compared to many other basses. And with good reason...they are incredible basses, IMHO.

Yikes... 2 words re: Ebay: seller fees $$$$

9 times out of 10, I feel like I get more than the additional sellers fees from selling on ebay. I just usually try TB first as it is a less hassle and the basses stay in the "family."

More than once, I have listed stuff here with no luck, but then sold it on ebay for well over my TB asking price. I think there is a perceived "security" with ebay for some people.

So I say it's gone and then all the PM's and offers come...where have you all been the last 2 weeks?

I am honoring the pending trade deal first. If it doesn't go through today, this bass will be back for sale - or possible trade.
