All Genz Benz shuttle amps on sale?

So, last week I go into one of my local guitar shops and saw that they carried the whole shuttle line by Genz Benz. I fell in love with the tone of those little monsters and decided to purchase one (I played the shuttle max 12.0 and the 6.0 but really wanted shuttle 9.0, they were out of stock so I had one ordered), great. After I talked to the owner of the shop and told him that I wanted to purchase one, he looked at me and smiled and said that I was going to love the price. I looked at the price tag again and it was around $830, as expected, so I looked at him confused and he said that Genz Benz was running a promotion through the end September. I thought, great! 10% off! Nope, he told me that he could sell that amp to me for $580!! I almost fell flat on my face when I heard that price!! :hyper: I think I literally threw my debit card at him to take my money!! Has anyone else had this experience? AND if that IS true, anyone who has been drooling over any of the shuttle amps, now would be the time to buy one!!

Dude....I have had my Shuttle Max 6.0 for about 6 months now and gig it about 5 times a week. After owning almost every amp in the known universe over the years, I must declare this head my soulmate. It is truly the little amp that could. What kind of cab are you gonna run yours thru?

Of course, it will be very interesting to see what the GB folks have on tap! A number of you experienced players have remarked on what a wonderful time it is for bass equipment and I'm starting appreciate what you mean.

Yep, there's a big special going on. It's supposed to go to the end of September. A free carrying bag for the Shuttle 9.0 is part of the promotion.

I'm playin through a bergie ht322 and ht212. I'm GAS'n for a bergie nv610 though, THAT would be an awesome combo! :)

If that's the case, it looks like Genz has been following the Apple way of marketing! All secrets about a new product then BAM, they hit you with something new after you buy! :ninja: Whatever, I can't complain, I'm gettin a smokin' deal. :hyper: :bassist:

We don't talk about new product until we can ship it. This is an ethical point for me.

Having said that, these specials don't have anything to do with pending new product launches. Every September, KMC has "Fall Specials" which affect all our product lines: Takamine, Genz Benz, Gretch Drums, Ovation etc.

They're done to help our dealers get product in for the upcoming Holiday season.

Thats a great deal on a Shuttle9... It takes a lickin' and keep tickin' too.
It is my main amp...
I did a gig yesterday with back-line provided but i always bring my shuttle9.. The S9 mated very well with the 810 cab that was provided at the gig... great tone and extremely loud. I am very happy with mine ..
Its amusing from me to see it on top of an 810 .. Looks like the monolith from 2001 a space odyssey.

Hats off to you guys!! Honestly, buying that shuttle 9.0 amp has been one of the best experiences I have ever had buying gear!! :bassist: Thank you!!

Since we are on the topic, do you guys offer any other seasonal specials? Like a winter, spring, summer specials? Just thought I would ask. :D

I picked one up for $700 through the MF Labor Day sale, and felt pretty smart. But, whadda dope! $580!!! Sheesh.

Great amp, BTW...

You will need to call in to check the discounted price on other amps. Ask for Eddie and tell him Rob Richards sent ya. Remember that this sale is for the WHOLE shuttle line and only goes through the end of September, so if you want to get one at that price, jump on it QUICK!!
