Tall cab for tall player?

Does anyone know of a DIY cab that has speakers above 36" (in height, not diameter) or so? Preferably not to exceed 24x24x48. I'm slightly over six feet, and really tired of playing to my ankles and knees. All the while constantly being told that I'm too loud, while I can hardly hear myself. Would an inverted Tuba/Titan work, or something similar? Or would inversion present coupling issues? Definitely want to keep it in the single cab scenario. I would love to hear your ideas, be they good, bad or truly bizarre...Cheers...

I'm gigging two Avatar 210 cabinets stacked as a vertical 410.
Gives the height advantages of a 810 but with a smaller foot-print on stage.
My vertical 410 measurers 48"H.X17.5"W.X16.5D.
Plus with two 210 cabinets you can use just one for rehearsals/small gigs, both cabinets when more volume and coverage is needed.

dude...i am 6'7 and been playing for 16 years...i fought it for years and just finally in the past couple years started using a tilt back stand or for the past months putting my 2x12 on top of a 12 space shock rack. goin back to the ampstand tho as i am gonna ditch the rack and go to a micro head. 3am+12 space rack= no fun

check out the diy 2x15 built by dmn from plans direct from sunn.....a 48 inch cab is pretty darn tall even for a 6'4" player.....unless you play in the nba,i doubt anything bigger would be practical or desirable

I'm not tall, ( 5'7" ) but I always have elevated my cabs until I had Don at LDS build me a 215/horn cab that is 44" tall, 23.5" wide, and 16" deep. Works for me !

Paul's suggestion is spot-on. After using Acme B-4's for years (26" tall), I recently acquired a pair of B-2's which, stacked end-on-end, reach 46"...essentially a "stretch" 4 X 10. There's an added bonus as the vertical array results in better dispersion or something like that.
