I looked around on TB and found other "Mesa" clubs but none specifically for owners and players of the legendary 400 and 400+ amps.

Post the pic of yours and join the group that plays the "leviathan" of all bass amps. Below is mine and as the OP I will take #1.

Sold my 400, 400+, and Strategy 400 years ago when I realized 400 just wasn't my number. Come to think of it, sold my Peavey Classic 400 around the same time....

180, now, that's a number I can groove on. I won't tell my poor old amp about this thread, he's had a rough week.

I tried a 400+ in the early '90's and loved the tone. For many years after I tried different gear to keep weight down or give me more power (which I thought I needed) and all I did was waste time. I bought the 400+ and Powerhouse 1200 a few years ago and it's the first time I have been completely content with my tone.
