Human Base BaseX model 6-string electric bass guitar in excellent condition for sale.
An interesting and very fun instrument from Germany, this bass was built by the owner of Human Base, Siggi Jäger, around 2017. The instrument sounds even across all registers, sports a comfortable and easy-to-play neck, and is generally very nice to hold and play. The bass has been professionally maintained, cleaned up, and recently set up.
The body is ash with a birdseye maple top, three piece maple neck, and ebony fretboard. The workmanship is top-notch throughout.
The bass is made with a 34" scale length, 24 frets, six strings, with graduated 17–20mm spacing (fully adjustable at bridge), solid hardware from EBS and Gotoh, pickups by Bartolini, and a Glockenklang 2-band EQ (with preamp bypass on the push-pull volume knob).
There is a hairline separation along one of the joints in the headstock near the B string tuner, but the headstock remains quite stable after at least six years in this state — there are many other overlapping joints up there holding everything together.
