Here is a custom modified Ibanez mdm1606.

I installed EMG E6W pickups and a Taurus TM2. The 3 band preamp has presence and punch mini toggles and active passive mode with push/ pull volume control. This bass plays super nice and low with a great Low b string. Custom wood rear cover.
Amazing bass now even better with upgrades that really make it special.
Truss rod on these are tight but perfectly functional. It's just common with this series. Frets are stainless and excellent. Great tuning stability.
Includes Ibanez gig bag.

I am itching for an intermediate replacement until my BN6 shows up next February. Maybe I missed it, but what does this weigh? I have had 5 back operations in the past decade and need something that weighs no more than 9.5 pounds. I had an Ibanez 6, their new headless mutliscale. Loved everything about it except my left hand, with arthritis, just couldn't handle the multiscale first five frets.
