Here is a mint Fender Custom Shop '64 Precision Bass Relic - Aged Lake Placid Blue. I bought it new from Sweetwater in April, 2024 and probably has an hour of total playing time on it. Otherwise, it's been in the case in my smoke-free home. It looks just as it did the day the case was opened. (There is one tiny blemish on the exterior of the case, visible in the photo.) Weight is just shy of 8.5 lbs.

I bought this intending it to be my 'poor man's vintage bass' instead of shelling out bags of money for a real one. Shortly after buying this, I was lucky enough to acquire a 1970 Precision and that instrument is getting all the attention now (go figure). So its time for someone else to enjoy this beautiful Fender Custom Shop masterpiece!

If you've got $15-$20k laying around, go buy an original '64 Precision (if you can find one that hasn't been gorked up). Otherwise, this is as close as you'll get to that mojo, with all the modern technology and reliability of a new instrument.

You'll get everything that was included in the original box... the bass, pickup and bridge covers, OHSC, Leather strap, COA, shop traveler docs, etc. These sell for $4,850 new, but you can have this at 64% of the cost of new, in identical condition!

Looking for $3,099 plus $99 shipping (CONUS only).

Yes, I hesitated dropping the price this low because I’ll be losing hundreds on this bass. I’m still tempted to pull the ad and keep it as an investment. But I’d rather have someone playing it and giving it a good home rather than sitting in a case at my house. Plus, I need to replenish the bank account after buying a “66 jazz bass! 😶

I completely understand. If my bank account was replenished I would've messaged you. LOL

It's easily one of my favorites in the marketplace right now.
