For sale only Benavente Vintage Vortex.
According to Chris Benavente and Brian Barrett this is one of the last hand-carved Benavente's.
This started life with J pups, was converted to humbucker Benavente pups shortly before I purchased it in 2006/7 (can't recall the exact year). While I have not gigged it in quite a long time, I do practice regularly with it.
2026 update
I have taken this to Worship a few times recently, and practiced with it a lot.
Total tone monster! Growls like mad in SC mode, deep and fat in HB.
The strap lock rotated towards the b/top of the bridge on has the bass slung naturally at ~30 degree angle - kind of automatic Rob DeLeo style - lol
