I've started writing this ad a few times and changed my mind, but it's time.
I chased this bass through a few owners. I really wanted a Muck and I'm a sucker for walnut. Curly/flamed walnut? Never even seen it on a bass!
In the meantime I acquired a different Muck and it quickly became my primary gigging bass. That Muck is passive and I changed my pedalboard and rig around to accommodate, and now it's become my sound for my current project. It's dialed in which means the rest of the stable isn't getting much attention.
If I had the fund I'd acquire every Muck I come across. They're built like orchestra instruments, the luthiery is unmatched IMO.
Plays like butter, punchy, cuts through like a knife, all the TB buzzwords apply to this bass.
Specs
The pickups on this one were custom overwound and the neck pickup is closer to the neck than most Pro Player models giving it a unique tonal range. It can go warm and thumpy, it's pretty hot even in passive mode.
Here's the previous ad for this bass, I've talked to Bryan about this one a few times and we both agree this is probably the highest end Muck out there. It's a special one.
Comes with a nice gig bag
$3500 shipped, firm on price. Someone is gonna love this but I could keep it forever.
