Curious, is the GK 112MBP the same thing as the MB112-II? They look similar and have the same specs on gallien-krueger.com? Because I cant find a MB112 for under 300 dollars but the 112MBP I can find for around 270. So is there some major difference between them?

I don't think I'm ready to drop a couple grand on an amp just because someone on the internet told me to.

Look my dad's a doctor and I have 5 siblings, money isn't an issue and noise is inevitable (plus I'm isolated in my room and it's not like my amp is on full blast). And if we wanted to save on electricity turning off my bass amp would be the last thing to come to mind, as we have about two dozen...

I'm academically ahead, I've had all my high school credits for a good year and a half now. And in my state it's legal to work at 14, although I started at 13 since I worked for my dad.

Well I'm not in school and I'm unemployed, so I'm next to my bass all day I pick it up every half an hour or so and practice in 15-20 minute sessions, 4-6 hours is a rough estimate.

Put it like this, the average player probably spends around 1-2 hours per day practicing. I spend 4-6 if not more. I'm moving at 4x the pace of the average player. How long you've owned the instrument isn't important, it's how long you play the instrument.

Well I'm not doing any gigs yet, but I'd like one that leaves that possibility open.
