    The way I look at it, electronics can be replaced, but poor craftsmanship may not be fixable. Despite being made in Korea, I think Spectors are pretty well made. Any opinions on other well made beginner basses? And I completely agree that a professional setup can do wonders to an instrument.

    IMO, Spector's low end stuff is pretty good for the price, but I don't think any of their stuff can qualify for being "best in the world." However, I really do love my Spector legend.

    Yeah, it seems like there's always a few people in any group that give the rest a bad rep. Straightedge is definitely NOT a gang or even an organization, it's a lifestyle. Please sign me up, I've been Straightedge since the day I was born
