Here's a technical question:
I have a '86 SB Elite II with a fried bridge pickup.
I also have a '86 RSB Deluxe 5 with properly performing active electronics.
I pulled out the calipers and the p/u's were the same size, and the Elite has more than enough knobs and switches to accomodate...
The RSB arrived today.:hyper: SUPER NICE BASS!!!!! String spacing provides easier play than my Elite. Haven't had time to play with the sound much, but definately not as bright as the Elite. Maybe I'll replace the nut with brass and try some lighter strings.
Hello All,
I've got an '86 SB Elite II (pics on pg.15) that I am interested in knowing the market value of. I am half heartedly thinking of moving to a Kubicki. I've looked all over and have not seen a similar Elite II for sale. Anybody seen one at a local shop or classified? Able to...
Is that Integra the same style that Rocco Prestia uses. I've followed TOP for a long time, but just looked them up on YouTube. Looks to be a similar design, without the decals. By the way, who's this Zamaz guy. HaHa, you've got skills.
Thanks fellas,
I bought this guitar from my sister's boyfriend (Deadstring Brothers) when I was in High School in the Detroit area. John Taylor was way cooler than Fender's to me at the time. Hadn't played in years; until my 6 yr old daughter wanted to play with it a couple of weeks ago...
MikeUs,
Love the sarcasm. (I hope). But really, I want to know what this is. You can't look these babies up like you can Fender's.
Believe it or not, I sold a 72 P-bass and and 68 Jazz for this baby. Didn't hurt in the day, but if I only knew.
Andy.
Looks like a lot of knowledge in this forum. Got me excited about bass again. Bought this in '89, know it was manufactured in '86. Thought it was an SB R80, but leaning to the Elite II (is there a difference?). Serial #6013438. Any help would be appreciated.
