That's one hell of a collection you've got there! Whilst not my no. 1 favourite bass of all time, I've still had a deep love and appreciation for single coil P basses from the moment I first heard "No More Tears" by Ozzy. Amazing sound Bob Daisley gets from his '55 Precision.

For a little over $1000, that's a ridiculously low price, especially considering it's a rare finish. Even if you don't like it, you can probably polish it up and sell it on for a fair bit more! All I can say is you're a lucky *******!

Sorry to pester you, but you seem like a knowledgable fellow with these basses. Do you know why there is a hole in the back plate? On most RDs it’s got a plug in it, but mine is just left open.
