    Interesting! I measured the spacing on my Fender Jazz 5 from about 15 years ago and it appears to be 70s spacing, but no companies show that information on their website.

    Which companies these days are making jazz bass with 60s style pickup spacing? I much prefer the sound of the 60s style, but can't seem to find a bass in the $1000-1500 range that has this spacing. Any recommendations?

    I played one while I was in Toyko last October. Felt exactly the same as my 55-02. The tone was about the same too, couldn't really get apples to apples comparison since it was through a different amp than my Markbass.
