Jazz Basses with 60's Pickup Spacing

Which companies these days are making jazz bass with 60s style pickup spacing? I much prefer the sound of the 60s style, but can't seem to find a bass in the $1000-1500 range that has this spacing. Any recommendations?

Welcome to Talkbass.

Most Fender Jazz basses have '60s spacing. It is the default spacing for Fender Jazzes.
One can find '70s spacing on some specifically designated models, but if it isn't a P/J,
and if it isn't a labeled '70s, it will be 60s spacing.

Interesting! I measured the spacing on my Fender Jazz 5 from about 15 years ago and it appears to be 70s spacing, but no companies show that information on their website.

Reissue Fender 70's Jazz basses from Japan had 60's spacing, and the Squier VM 70's and VM '77 had 60's spacing. Some may call that a "mistake" or an "oversight"...

The new Squier Classic Vibe 70's have 70's spacing.

If I remember correctly, Fender went back to 60's spacing in '82 or '83 when they came out with a 60's reissue, and then kept that platform.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe that Fender ever made a production USA or MIM Jazz V with '70s spacing – at least I've never seen one. However, as noted above by @eastcoasteddie, the current Squier Classic Vibe '70s Jazz V does utilize '70s spacing.

The Fender Classic 60's JB is certainly correct. And can be had as low as $500-600
