The tension of the strings keeps them in place. This would depend on how hard you play I suppose. Worth a try though!

I wouldnt worry about filing the saddles. I and lots of other people have fitted BA2 bridges without filing, and not had any problems.

Hi Yeh i know about the screw hole issue. Thats not a problem, but I imagined the bridge was deeper than normal and that some people actually carve a hole out of the body to inset the bridge???? Am I totally wrong, i'm sure i fitted one of these before to a fender p without any problems...

I know most people advise to rerout the bass in order to fit the Badass1 bridge just wondered if anyone had fitted one without doing any rerouting. My action is set pretty high anyway, so hopefully I can get around it.
