But they do, they are exactly the type of company I would expect to make these things hence my disappointment. They make weird hybrid fretless fretted basses.

The TMB35 is an entry level instrument with questionable consistency in built quality. Make me a made en Japan 32 scale 5 string tmb.

The BTB as I see it appeal to metal players with their aggressive horns and “modern” looks. Not the same segment that plays e-c Chordal stuff. Seems to be a mistake to make short or medium scale variations on that model.
