1968. 15 years old. Bought a Teisco Del Ray bass from a department store. Maybe a Target or something like that. Paid less than $40 for it new. That’s what I learned on.

Yes. I saw that listing a couple weeks ago. I’ve thought about selling mine as it’s just a wall hanging now. Never gig with it. Take it down and play it from time to time. The one on eBay is in much nicer condition than mine plus has the original case. I may list it at some point.

I also might add that it’s completely original. Still plays great. Good intonation up and down the neck. Unfortunately the case disintegrated over the road years so no longer have it.

I'm looking at a Fender American jbass w/S-1 switch, 2006 model. Anyone tell me about pros and cons of this setup?

I have a fender custom jbass IV which is an active bass. Is it possible to put a push-pull switch in to bypass the active circuitry and play only in passive mode? If so, how difficult is it to do? Thanks.
