active/passive push-pull switch

I have a fender custom jbass IV which is an active bass. Is it possible to put a push-pull switch in to bypass the active circuitry and play only in passive mode? If so, how difficult is it to do? Thanks.

Not real difficult to do at all.

There was a PDF Schematic of how to do it on a Squier Deluxe V Active around here at some point. I don't have it though.

I also have a custom J, and it has the push/pull switch you're describing, along with active B&T + passive tone. Lots of good tones.
