    Ibanez basses GSR 200 - SR 300 - SR 400 QM - SR 500 - SR 600 - G 104

I bought the SR500 used for $350 from GC. What a sound. The range of tones I can get is incredible compared to the old washburn mercury that I've been playing for the last 6 years.

    Ibanez basses GSR 200 - SR 300 - SR 400 QM - SR 500 - SR 600 - G 104

Just bought a SR500 and returned my GSR200. Amazing sound on my Fender Rumble 500. Had to drive 56 miles but ended up with a great deal. Today happened to be the tax free weekend in massachusetts and guitar center also has a deal giving $10 coupon for every $50; Thanks for the great advice.

    Fender Rumble Club

Thanks this really helps. I wasn't thinking Gain adjusts the preamp which would turn down hot active bass.

    Ibanez basses GSR 200 - SR 300 - SR 400 QM - SR 500 - SR 600 - G 104

I switched from guitar to bass a few years ago and have been playing an old Washburn Mercury. I just upgraded my GK MB210 to a Fender Rumble 500 combo amp. Its time to upgrade my bass also. I have been looking at Ibanez basses after I tried my friend's G 104 - Ibanez seems to be the best value...

    Fender Rumble Club

Couple months ago I replaced my GK MB210 with a Combo Rumble 500. One difference is that MB210 had 2 inputs for active and passive pickups but Rumble has just 1 input. It sounds nice with my Washburn Mercury with active pickup. Couple days ago I picked up a Ibanez GSR 200 which also has an...

    GK MB210 Problem

That's a good suggestion. Friday Night I discovered if I turn off the amp between songs, problem of cutting out happened less. It seems like Heat has something to do with it.

    GK MB210 Problem

I've been using a MB210 for a couple of years now. Starting one day, the sound started cutting out in the middle of playing. The effect sounds like someone turn the volume down and back up again. Issue happens more as I play louder! Any ideas what this issue may be ?
