GK MB210 Problem

I've been using a MB210 for a couple of years now. Starting one day, the sound started cutting out in the middle of playing. The effect sounds like someone turn the volume down and back up again. Issue happens more as I play louder!
Any ideas what this issue may be ?

My MB210 doesn't seem to be over heating. My problem is the output levels are crazy. What I mean is that the passive input has become abnormally loud and the active input is practically nonexistent. I have taken contact cleaner to the extension cab out, the D.I., the headphone out, as well as both inputs. I also took a1/4 inch cable in and out repeatedly into the headphone out and both inputs.
Unfortunately, I have noticed no improvements. Are there any other suggestions, has anyone else noticed this problem? I appreciate all of the help!!!
