From what I’m reading that seems to be the case. I’ll give it another shot over the weekend. If my patience runs out, I’ll go to eBay or Musikraft or Andrew Drake for a new neck. thats interesting. G&L May have used a high temperature resistant glue.

Yes. I tried a special tool from StewMac for that and a sharp edge of a knife. Going to try the iron again but with a heat gun pointed at a scraper.

I did try that but from what I’ve read is that G&L may have used a super type of glue that is not like Hyde glue or titebond.

Does anyone have any tips on removing a fretboard of the neck from a G&L L2500 bass? I tried the iron heat method for 30 minutes and nothing happened. This is to remove the truss Rod and replace.

I do not think that anyone with a real Fodera would ever put bumper stickers and tattoos on their Fodera.

Boss a great multi used can be had at around 100. Comes with a wah/volume pedal built in. Great basic effects and easy to use.

Hi, Just picked up a G&L MJ4 sunburst body. Any recommendations for pickups and pre would be appreciated.

It might have been a custom order from G&L that never got built completely and ended up in a dumpster grab after they closed.

Question: Is the G&L JB2 bass active or passive? Reason for asking is because I just got a JB2 body and its routed out cavity is larger than it should be if it was to be passive. Which makes me think that whoever wanted this body , might have had intentions for an active JB2. Any thoughts would...
